....getting my float on~in my happy place.

I'm a water baby and am happiest getting my float on in the pool or some exotic tropical destination. Blending my passion for stylish living~ interior design, fashion, travel, living the good life~with making the world a better place in my day job. What inspires you?

Stylemindchic is my creative outlet, my colorful expression and the whimsical balance to my serious real life career as a school psychologist for students with Emotional/Behavioral/Physical disabilities. The teachers and staff, who work creatively and tirelessly each day, get my applause and they inspire.  I support them; they do the heavy lifting. That's the other side of my balance for the inception of Stylemindchic.

I'm also inspired by a gorgeous sunset, a fabulous pattern or color, creating a lovely event or even a stylish stiletto. I'll take a little sparkle and shine. I enjoy fashion, decor, design, fabulous food and travel adventures. Beachy escapes are, obviously, my favorite, but I am enchanted by the history and experience of other cultures. Paris, Barcelona, Florence, St. Barts, St. Martin and St. Lucia are some of my current favorites places. I can't wait to visit Portugal, Brazil, Bali and Santorini. I hear that Vietnam should be on my list. I'm tempted.......

The psychologist in me also appreciates the reality of the human experience. I'm fascinated by the psychology of color, how environment impacts our mood, how the mind works and impacts every aspect of our lives. I'm inspired by stories of the resiliency of the human spirit and how faith inspires that journey.
