Trina Turk has long been one of my favorite designers. I first discovered her retro chic, color blast styles during frequent visits to Palm Springs in the early 90's while living in SoCal. Her vibe has summer poolside party written all over it. "Drinks poolside at 7:30, dahling, and wear something fab!", who doesn't love that idea? Over the years the Trina Turk brand has expanded to home furnishing, textiles and even fabulous candles and stylish tool kits.
It's all the buzz in fashion circles that Trina Turk is creating a designer collection for Banana Republic. I found some sneak peaks of the lookbook at Glamour.com. The collection hits stores on June 7th.
Word is out that Gilt Group will be doing Trina Turk pre-sales online (I always love a hot tip!).

Hi Heather! I facebook linked, tweeted, and +1-ed this post. I am thrilled about this new collection for Banana Republic. I had no idea BR was taking this approach. I love the decor of the shop. And, I love the idea of sitting outside by the pool, drink in hand, and wearing a fabulous piece from TT's collection! Fabulous!
