Dorie Swanson Wishmyer is a stylish influence on many. She is a fashion designer and was a lead designer for the luxury brand, St.John, for 20 + years, in her hometown of Newport Beach. More recently she has embarked on her own entrepreneurial endeavors which is inspiring and exciting. Aside from being incredibly glamorous, and refreshingly down to earth (a perfect combination in my mind), she is kind, generous and always goes the extra mile. As you can see, Dorie has a smile so bright it goes on for days. On a side note, she just so happens to be my full sister (we met in 1996). What a lovely surprise.

My mom, Jeri, and my sister, Heidi, and I have been fans of St. John designs for years. Coincidentally, my sister, Dorie, even designed a few of the St. John pieces my mom has collected over the years. How is it that we all never met until 1996?? Any guesses? ( I promise-that's a story for another time)
